From the moment you send us your records to the day you fly home with a treated heart — here's how the process runs, and what we handle on your behalf.
Send us your imaging (DICOM, JPEGs, or PDFs), recent reports, current medications, and a brief summary of your symptoms. We accept files up to 100 MB via the form below, or you can send them via WhatsApp or email if that's easier.
Within 24 working hours, Dr. Rafik or a senior member of his team reviews the records and arranges a video consultation at a time that works for your timezone. Bring family if you'd like — we usually recommend it.
After the consultation you receive a written treatment plan: which procedure, which approach (robotic, minimally invasive, or open), which hospital, expected length of stay, and a fully itemised cost estimate. Never a vague "from" price. You take the plan home to discuss with your family or your local cardiologist.
Once you decide to proceed, we issue the supporting letter for your medical-treatment visa (which also covers one accompanying family member). We coordinate hotel options near the hospital, arrange airport pickup on arrival, and brief you on what to expect on admission day.
Admission, surgery, ICU recovery, ward step-down, and discharge. For robotic procedures, hospital stay is typically 3–5 days. For open surgery, 7–10. Dr. Rafik personally rounds on every patient daily. Your family member stays in the same room.
You leave with a complete English-language discharge summary, all imaging, and a written handover for your home cardiologist. Follow-up at two weeks (in Dubai or by video), six weeks (by video), and three months (by video) — with full reports back to your home team.
Arranged for consultations, ward rounds, and discharge briefings.
Met on arrival at DXB. Driven to the hospital or hotel.
Partner hotels near each of Dr. Rafik's three Dubai practice locations.
Issued for you and one accompanying family member.
Family member stays in the same room throughout.
Personally seen every day from admission to discharge.
Complete written record for your home cardiologist.
At two weeks, six weeks, and three months — plus reports to your home team.
One coordinator from first email through your final follow-up.
The UAE issues a dedicated medical-treatment visa for incoming patients and one accompanying family member. We provide all the supporting letters required.
Cardiac surgery costs vary substantially with the procedure, length of stay, and choice of hospital. We send you a written, itemised quote after reviewing your records — never an opaque "from" price.
Send us your records and a short summary of your situation. Dr. Rafik or a senior member of his team will review and respond within one working day.
A consultation by video, a treatment plan in writing, and a single point of contact in Dubai. That's how it starts.
